Festive Season Opening

200 years of Johann Strauß, that’s reason to celebrate! The Viennese King of Operetta wrote countless immortal melodies, which are "unfortunately not by me," as his colleague Brahms lamented. In addition to Strauß and other operetta composers, the concert will also feature music by Richard Wagner. We will be hearing Finnish soprano and Baden-Baden’s 2024 Isolde Camilla Nylund, as well as the Heldentenor and Bayreuth star Andreas Schager.
