The Notwist
Classical music fans know the term "Mannheim School" – some pop artists may have even honed their craft in one. But get ready for the "Weilheim sound"! Many bands have been born in this city, all modeled on the German indie rock band The Notwist. We have invited the original from Bavaria to Baden-Baden and are looking forward to a mix of indie rock, electronics, and experimental pop.

Can I exchange or return tickets?
Art is dynamic and artists are only people after all – musicians continue their development and rethink their programs, an opera diva can suddenly fall ill… In such cases we do our best to react in an accommodating way, but as a matter of principle, the program and performers are unfortunately subject to change; this is in the nature of things and does not entitle one to a refund of tickets already purchased. In addition to the ticket, we recommend that you purchase ticket cancellation insurance for € 5 per ticket. This insurance allows you to withdraw your ticket purchase in case of illness or accident preventing you from attending.
How does my ticket get to me?
You can choose between different delivery methods during the booking process:
- By mail (note the additional service fee)
- To pick up at the box office

To reach the Festival Hall by car: A5 Frankfurt–Basel, exit Baden-Baden (Google Maps route planner). The „Baden Airpark“ regional airport is located just 15km from the Festival Hall. From the Baden-Baden train station, bus lines 201, 205, 216, 243, 244, and 245 all stop at the Festival Hall. The journey takes 15 minutes; buses run from 5:00 in the morning to 1:00 at night. Where can I park at the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden?
Depending on the event and the season, the parking situation at the Festival Hall can be problematic. In order to avoid the traffic rush after events, we recommend rounding out the evening with dinner at the Festival Hall. There are other parking garages nearby (between 5 and 15 minutes walking distance) that are best suited for concerts in the city center. Of these, the Wagener shopping center parking garage is the closest to the Festival Hall.
