Festspielhaus Baden-Baden
With 2,500 seats, the hall is one of Europe’s largest venues for classical music. The auditorium and stage were built on the former tracks of the Grand Ducal train station, which today forms the entrance to the Festspielhaus. Viennese architect Wilhelm Holzbauer designed the new stage building with its light-filled foyers in the mid-1990s. Renowned Munich engineer Karlheinz Müller calculated the ideal values for the hall acoustics.
